Clinically-Driven
Remote ECG Monitoring Workflow

This system integrates an Internet of Things (IoT) architecture to establish a long-term, continuous, and remotely operable ECG monitoring solution. From sensor-level data acquisition and multi-environment data transmission to cloud-based AI analysis and clinical decision feedback, it delivers a highly integrated and automated workflow that effectively bridges data gaps in clinical monitoring.

IoT Architecture Layers

Front-End Sensing Layer

Real-time ECG signals are captured by VSH101, designed with a focus on clinical stability and patient wearing comfort. It is suitable for a wide range of scenarios, including outpatient follow-up, post-discharge care, and home-based monitoring.

Edge Data Processing Node

Connects via Mobile App, Smart Clinic terminals, or Gateway. The system can automatically switch between WiFi and LTE, ensuring continuous data transmission whether on-site, off-site, or on the move.

Cloud AI Computing Layer

The AI-Cloud platform handles real-time analysis and long-term trend computation. Using a clinical ECG rules engine, it automatically identifies abnormalities and converts them into actionable clinical insights.

Four-Phase Clinical Workflow

Admission → Monitoring → Alert → Clinical Action

PHASE 1
Admission | Patient Enrollment & Device Setup

Patients are enrolled via outpatient visits, post-discharge follow-up, or remote care. Clinicians assign the device, which pairs and configures quickly for hospital, off-site, or home use.

PHASE 2
Monitoring | Continuous ECG Monitoring & Data Collection

Continuous ECG data is collected and sent via BLE to the gateway, then uploaded automatically via WiFi or LTE, ensuring uninterrupted monitoring of episodic events.

PHASE 3
Alert | Abnormality Detection & Clinical Alerts

Data flows in real-time to the AI-Cloud, where algorithms and a clinical rules engine automatically detect abnormal rhythms. When risks are identified, alerts are sent immediately to the clinical platform, ensuring critical events are never missed.

PHASE 4
Clinical Action | Clinical Decision & Care Intervention

Clinicians remotely assess real-time data, adjust treatment, and initiate interventions, closing the loop from monitoring to care.
